Welcome to the site from a fellow Calgarian. A good place to see some great vehicles and talk with owners is the weekly show and shine in the spring/summer. They usually are every Wed evening at the Home Depot parking lot across (east) of Chinook Mall.

I'm in Airdrie, I'll have to check out this show and shine as well. The underground street races used to be a fun place, but now the police put the halt on it every time it starts. understandable i suppose..

Well if you like to race or just check out other cars anoth good place is Friday nights in the spring/summer at Race City in SE Calgary. They have street races where anyone can come down and race 1/4 mile and even a track think. And the cops won't bother us there.
