Default Classic Car Insurance.

Should have asked this with my other thread - but forgot.

Need to insure the Mach 1 ( 1971 ) and my 1978 Lincoln Mk v.

Will keep the Mach 1 in Florida for about 6 months before sending it over to the UK. The Lincoln stays in Florida and is used just for cruising and the beach - its only worth about 3 grand, but its big fast and reliable and yearly milage is under a grand.
Any idea which insurance company to check out - do not need the cheapest, prefer quality and honourable to deal with.

All help muchos gracias,
Hugo.

You can take the Mkv, but you have to leave the Mach I, just kidding! I have mine with J.C. Taylor. I just went through a insurance broker. My regular insurance did not have very good rates for classic cars.

Hagerty is the only company I could find that would insure my Ranger for the stated value.

It is the underwriter that actually insures a car. Hagerty, Gundy, or Taylor are only the salesman.

The laws differ from state to state.
