Default 1/26/08 Project 1966 Mustang / SVO 2.3 Turbo engine swap

Here is a project that will upset some of the purist.
Here is a project I am working on for my daughters first car. It is a 66 Mustang that I am putting a 300+ hp SVO 2.3 turbo motor in. Here are some pictures. or you can go to angliagasser - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting and see all of the pictures of the project as I do it.

That's cool! I've never seen a 2.3 in one of these cars before.

While modifying the old cars like this isn't something I'm personally into I do enjoy seeing what others have done though with different swaps. The metal work and fabrication you're doing is excellent too. The slots for the air intake are a nice neat job too, as if it was "original".

Keep us updated!

Hopefully a 1969 convertible or Sportsroof (non Mach or Boss) for next Mustang project

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.

Here are some more pictures of the suspension.
I have taken the car completely apart again and sanded it down to bare metal to get ready for body work and paint prep.
