My 69 mach1 one looked real close to yours. Your wheels are not 69 mach1.
The engine bay color it seemed to be two different blacks. The parts were a shinny black like a gloss black and the inner fenderes and firewall were a flat color black. Thats not from any book though,

Scroll 3/4 of the way down the page on the following link and you'll have your answer, Limited Edition 600 Restoration - Part 9

This Sportsroof is restored to concourse standards too. I gave you the link since there's much more info on his site that you may find interesting.

Hopefully a 1969 convertible or Sportsroof (non Mach or Boss) for next Mustang project

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.

Recommend you decode the vin#, do a google search plenty of sites have done this. It will give you original color, engine and some other info. That will give you a start, then you can move on to specifics.

Are you planning on doing much of the restoration yourself or contracting it out?

67GT Seattle, thank you for the advice. Planning on doing all of the work myself, any chance that you may have any of the web sites that you are referencing? I have already decoded the VIN, but if you have somewhere else that I could check that would be great.

Hello. The cowl and fender lips should be body color and the inner fenders, shock towers, firewall etc..... should be semi-gloss black. All that the vin will tell you is year model, production plant, body style, engine/carb and the sequential number. The rest of that stuff is available from Marti Auto Works - concours quality parts at hobbyist prices ! They have Ford's production records for your car. Hope that helps.
