What gas milage are you getting?

I am curious to know what type of gas milage most classic mustang owners are getting.

I have a heavily modified 289 in my coupe and am getting about 10 MPG.

sweet aint she. thought Id put that on there for u guys got a couple others that would be banned. I hope this ones cool. About the gas in my old z-28 i used to run vp so I didnt care about gas mileage the price was killing me

Ya, she is! I drove mine easy just to see, 17 mpg, I won't do that again.

You could get better but you'll need efi a over drive tranny and a rear end gear to match.

Great mileage...the last ten years have been in the garage! LOL Hopin to be out again this year! But as I recall it was about ten.

hell I have a 66 Mustang I do not

worry about gas millage.
I just keep her tuned and fresh and DRIVE

I gas up before going to a show. If I am out of town (over night) by any distance I gas up again and go HOME no worries

I did it for fun one time in my '68 just out of curiosity and it was about 13mpg with a 302 4 barrel. I don't really car though its a car for fun and I just gas it up when it needs it.

i get about 10 around town and probably about 17 on the highway.

I've never checked my mileage,but I know I use a tank of gas every 3-4 days.And I work 8 miles from home,also counting a few trips into town about 2 miles away.Expensive ,but well worth the fun!!!

I wish our gas was as cheap as yours.
Pump prices where I live at Lake Wanaka are about $1.75 per litre. Work that out in gallons.

WOW!! if i did my math right, that's like $6.63 per gal! ($1.75 x 3.79liters) that's a little more than double what i am paying......what is the price of diesel? i get around 42mpg in my diesel VW '00 Bug, 14 in my '98 Thaoe, and not sure about my '65 Mustang we just got it on the road!
