Default Question on buying a 1967 mustang coupe

Looking at a 1967 cpe.
90% original, even paint and vinyl top.
everything looks like new, 65k original (supposedly)miles, original sticker
6 cyl, AT no A/C
asking 12,500
What should I look for. He says there are no leaks when i asked about the cowl area.
It has headers on it. why would that be?
He disconnected the power steering and went back to manual. Pump is still there.
thanks

It sounds like a lot money for a 6 Cylinder that is not perfect. I'll sell you mine for the same amount and even ship it to you for free...let me know if you want pics.

Hello. I would agree that that's an awful lot of money for a 6cyl coupe. If you look around you will easily be able to find as many 67 model 6cyl coupes as you want for half that amount, so, as far as what you should look for goes, that would be a different car.

Hi, agree here, too much $. I picked up a '67 289 coupe in pretty much same driveable cond. for 1/3 less. Here's one from craigslist, wish I'd seen this first, a conv. V8 for $6K in your area
atlanta craigslist > for sale / wanted: search for "67 mustang"

I'd keep looking, you'd be lucky to get half that back if you ever sold it...

Here's a thought---in your search engine, type in "1966 mustang coupes for sale" You'll get a good idea of pricing from that
