Default Autolite 1100 carb remanufacture

When starting my 66 cold it spits and sputters a few minutes until warm then runs great. The mechanic set the idle high because it was dying when coming to an idle. He says it needs to be rebuilt.

While at the Moultrie (GA) car show last week I found a company who will rebuild it for $150 w/a lifetime warranty.

What do you think. Other prices had been in the 3-400 range.
