Mustang Monthly is a very good magazine for project related stories, ideas etc...Most of the vendors that advertise in the magazine specialize in the classic Mustang. Just this month, they did a how-to about adding power brakes to early mustangs.

"That's why it's unsafe."

1999 ZX2
I like the magazine, plenty of good ideas. Well worth the subscription fee.

On Going Project
Mustang Monthly is a great magazine if you are interested in totally stock Mustangs. I prefer Mustang and Fords just to get ideas on how to upgrade different areas of the car to improve driveability, handling, preformance etc. Plus it's not just Mustangs you get other cool Fords as well.
If in your research you find that you need a story or info from a specific back issue let me know. I've kept all my issues from Mustang Montly, Mustang and Fords, Muscle Mustang and Fast Fords and others going back to atleast 1999. I'd be happy to scan any articles you need.
That goes for anybody here really. I have them all in my garage and despite not being in order the way they're stored right now (Spring project) I imagine I could find certain issues pretty quick.
Cheers...
Cheers

i Found a deal last year and got Mustang Monthly and Mustang and Fords for 12 months for $24!
I dont think that they have that same sale right now. But both of those magazines are awesome! if i had to chose one it would be mustang monthly though.

I've found Mustang Monthly to be full of great articles on do-it-yourself projects and they always highlight a couple of nice cars. They seem to be doing more and more restomod stuff if that interests you. Can't beat the price either.
I've been a subscriber to Mustang Monthly and Mustangs and Fords for many years. They have been a great source of all kinds of information and How-To articles. These two magazines, I have found, to be the best ones out there for the vintage Mustang.
Pick up a copy of each and you will find discount subscription cards inserted between the pages. You don't even have to pay the postage to send the card to them.
You will find some people that say that they aren't anything but a large advertisement for the latest products on the market. I say, so what! I want to to know what is available and how they are installed.
Another good mag. is Car Craft. It's not Mustang exclusive, but it sure is informative. They like to concentrate on the people that have limited funds or facilities and I fall into that catagory. I've found that they do a good bit of DIY stuff on the vintage Mustang from time to time. They aren't a big Chevy fan like Hot Rod seems to be.
