Default help/info on selling my 1968 Mustang

I have a 68 coupe that i am selling and i have no idea where to start my asking price.

1968 Ford Mustang Hardtop

Alert Possible California or High Country Special

8 Year 1968

R Assembly San Jose, CA

01 Body Mustang 2-Door Hardtop

T Engine 6 Cyl. 200 CID
Horsepower: 115
Carbs: 1-1BBL
Compression: 8.8:1

101937 Serial 101937

It has roughly 45k miles on the odometer and i was told when i purchased the car that its original and has been garage kept. I truly believe this due to the prefectly solid condition of the car. It is not show quality but is in great condition. There are only a few flaws i see on it. The paint is good looking but no clear coat or and protective covering. And the parking break is not connected. And it has some of the parts for power steering but i never hooked it up cause i found it unnecessary. Absoluelty no rust or anything on the car. It is 3 spd manual. minor things like electronic distributor and coil, and new battery. other than that everything in original. the interior is in good condition and original other than the headliner. not perfect but good. I just dont know where to begin to list it. nada says low to average is 5-10k so that makes me think 75-8. but after research that seems a little high.
any advice is appreciated

under 6k but higher than 2k i'd try to sell it for 3500, if their is no rust then 3k and 3500 wouldn't be to bad

45k could be 145 or higher but like shagadoodle said should be a real price.

Your best bet is to get a mustang trader (like auto trader but only mustang) and see what they are selling for in your area.

It is not a rare car but sounds like it is in very good (original is very good) shape around my area 6k might not be a bad price but again it depends on what it looks like.

check out our classifieds section for more ideas on price.
