The short version of the answer would be no, a 6cyl, three speed manual is the most common configuration that there was. Base model motor, base model transmission. It also didn't come with the Sprint package. That wasn't introduced until the 66 model year. It can be a very nice car and a lot of fun to have, but it isn't even a little bit rare. It also isn't a particularly early car if it came with the 200 cid straight 6. I've never seen or heard of one that was built earlier than mid august of 64, which was four months into the production year. The 200s were all alternator cars instead of generator cars like the early 170s. If he's really that interested in how early the car is, there will be a scheduled production date on the door tag.
