i need some opinions on how to get about 75 more hp. i have 302 with edelbrock intake and carb (650 cfm) crane cam, hooker super comp hedders, roush heads i figure i got about a liitle over 300 hp now but looking for about 400. is a stroker kit a good idea? i first though about a supercharger but the cost and modifying to make it fit is too much
turbo is the only way to go most of the time you can by a kit for around 1200-1500 when a good stroker kit alone is gonna run about 1200.00 and then you have machine work and all that so i think the best way to go and cheapest would be with an 80mm turbo system and i promise you will love the results..
How much are you looking to spend? Like they say "There's not replacement for displacement", but a turbo isn't a bad idea either. Although I'm thinking a supercharger and turbo are in the same ballpark cost wise, overall. Let us know what your budget is and maybe we can offer you a few options to choose from.
if it comes down to a turbo or superchager, i would go with a positive displacement supercharger, with the big scoop and the butterfly valves ! I love that!

i seen this NOS setup in my SDPP catalog that is an air cleaner housing that mixes the fuel and N2 and shoots it right down the carb. you dont even have to take your carb off to install it.
As far as turbos go, i dont think that they are really that cool. i always get reminded of rice burners when i hear one(unless its on a diesel of course!). A supercharger seems a lot more "Classic Muscle" to me.

Dont do N2O unless your racing at a track your just gona burn that engine up and cost yourself more money, but ifyou are drag racing at a track then go with N2O
