Default Info on Dunlop GT Qualifiers

are the dunlop gt qualifiers a good idea for using at the drag strip? will they have better traction then any street tire?

They are a street tire. Got 'em on my '65. Go with a drag radial unless you have an extra set of rims. hope this is some help.

There is nothing special about these tires. Although they are a good street tire, (I have a set), the rubber composition isn't really soft enough to show you any particular advantage over any other street specific tire. If you are looking for a good set for the drags, check out the numerous drag radials available. They have a softer rubber compound with just enough tread to make them street legal. One thing that is obvious though, they won't last long for daily driving, and as for wet surface adhesion, could be unsafe.
