Default questions on sales of mustangs

ok, i know this should probably be under classifieds, but i looked and no luck. so, with that said, what is the cheapest i can get a nice, drivable BOSS 'stang from '60s/70's? i love the look of them and would consider making it a project car. but if it turns out to be a daily driver, what are a few problems associated with the boss 'stangs of this era? i appriciate any help and information. thanks.

Yes. There were about 3,000 of them made between '69 and '70. It was an ultra-high performance model used for homologation into Trans-Am. You'd be better off buying a '69-'70 SportsRoof, a new Boss 302 block from Ford Racing, and a Clevor kit from Edelbrock. (p/n 2059, I believe. bottom of the "Ford Top End Kits" page). And with that, you also have the freedom to install whatever transmission, suspension, whathaveyou, without purists tearing you a new one. I know this because I plan on doing this build when I get out of college. It'll probably end up being about $40,000 for my build.

They was low production number mustangs like a Shelby thats why there so much. The funniest thing is the 71 boss 351 is faster then the 302 and 429 drag racing.Paul is right you can clone one but i rather use a world 460 man o war 460ci small block 600hp 575 foot pounds.

They are not as much fun on the street as you would think. They have very little bottom end torque. Once they get moving-different story. Parts are hard to get-(original stuff) and expensive!

As was said before-clone it- you will be into it for a bunch less money and have a better car for the street.

Yeah you can clone the outside but have a better drive train and have it your way so you'll enjoy the car more.
