The sounds, smells, and attention you get from driving a piece of history. The pride from knowing I built it myself aint bad either.

The sound, feel and smell of driving an old Mustang just can't be beat. How many of you have walked out in the garage for no reason but to turn on the light and look at your car. How many of you have walked up to your car and just put your hand on it for a second like a pat on the back before getting in? I am betting alot

Back when I purchased my bird I had a choice of a Hemi' Cuda or the bird.. I thought.. well going down the road the Cuda' looks like any other cuda... but the bird.. everyone from Corvettes to Mustangs know what that thing is.. The looks and attention are amazing.. As for my Mustang.. the familiar ping! when the clutch is pushed in and then the pedals dropping to the floor as you try to get it stopped.. hehe had that happen twice to me..

This says it all, I walk out to my drop top, the feeling, the touch, the sound, the style, the history and tells you who I am......

I would have to say the sounds and the actual feel of an older car. you can hear everything..good or bad. I also love how people with new mustangs just stare and smile when i pull up next to them. Knowing that i've done all the work myself feels good too
