Supercharging is usually only done on Windsor motors like your own to achieve 500 hp or more. You don't need any more than 300 hp for a first-time daily driver. However, I would recommend gearing. 3.50:1 or 3.73:1 will be best for a daily driver. Check out Mustangs unlimited, National Parts Depot, Year One, etc. for gearing choices. Also, for a decent power boost, use a 4 barrel carburetor and intake manifold with long tube headers. An intake, carb and headers will run you about $500 and get you about 50-75 hp. Throw on an MSD 6AL for another $200 for 5-10 hp and better street manners and fuel economy.

Thanks for your help.
I was also wondering what is the ideal size tires for my car because I love the look of the chrome bullet style rims but I dont know what size I should get.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

I personally think that anything between 15 and 17" looks best, and 7-8" wide should fit easily. I'm running 15 x 7 wheels with BFGoodrich 215/65R15 tires front, 235/70R15 tires in back. Fills the wheel well completely in front with a 1" drop, and not quite there in the back, making for an agressive rake.

Just thought I'd let you know...the 255/60R15s scrub pretty bad on my 73 coupe, even with a leaf spring shackle lift kit. So, learn from my mistake and make sure your backspacing is right...

I forgot to mention that my 65 has a similar problem, although only when heavily loaded. If you do get wide wheels and tires, defenitely check your backspacing and possibly roll your fender lip.

Because I already have alot of work to do on my car right now.
And I dont quite understand what u mean bybackspacing either...lol....but i did want 17 x 8 in the front and back or 17 x 9 in the back with 17 x 8 in the front but i realy dont want to make anymore modafications if i dont have to.
