Default Ultimate Resto-mod ??

I think if you were to find a 67 or 68 fast back and do a shelby GT 500 clone,,but instead of using the older drive train ,, find a smashed "NEWER" GT-500 and use the modern drive train ,,,brakes,, full interior,, wheels,,and what ever goodies you could take from a smashed one,,,That would be one sweet car

Id rather do a 806 big block blue thunder heads or super cobra jet a 4r70w or t56 coil overs front and rear the rear with a 3 link watts link wilwood brakes. It would be a gas hog tho.Id never use a mod motor after working at all state ford here i hate them.I have rented a hertz gt500 and was a ok car i hated that the hertz is auto only. How you gonna have a Shelby with a auto.

Nothing worse than a hi-po car with an auto in it..........but as far as the clone goes, id stop at the drive train and do a completely custom interior. going that far as to fab new interior to fit....might as well do it the way you would like it to be done. electric telescoping steering column. heads up display, voice activated commands, and i always wanted to install a mini lap top to keep track of performance and run wireless internet so you can download your tunes and system updates while on the road.
