Default 66 Bench Coupe question

Hi Everybody,

This is my first time here. I have 3 mustangs, 89 Black Gt Convertible, 66 Arcadian Blue 289 with pony interior, and my newest is a 66 wimbledon white coupe, straight 6 and a bench seat. I was wondering, did ford ever make a straight 6 bench interior that was the pony interior or was it only standard?

Thanx,

LissieStang

What engine was in the car didn't have anything to do with whether or not it had a bench seat or pony interior (deluxe).

Looking in my book I see the deluxe (pony) interior separate from the bench seat codes. I would say that the bench seat interior wasn't offered in pony trim.

Hopefully a 1969 convertible or Sportsroof (non Mach or Boss) for next Mustang project

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.

Hello. : They had a pony interior for the bench seat. The only thing different was the front seat itself. It was very rare then, since it was a special order thing, but they did have it. As far as finding the replacement vinyl for the front bench goes, good luck with that one. Nobody is reproducing it as far as I know. I used to have a blue and white pony interior bench seat car, though. They did make them. Hope that helps.
