Default Project 66 Mustang / SVO 2.3 turbo up date

I primer sealered and put some spray on bed liner on the undercarriage of the car today. I thought I would try this instead of undercoating it. And yes I am putting subframe Connectors on it and a Bolt-on 4 link suspension also.

Again that looks great, I had a couple a questions, when you installed the floor pans did you overlap them or did you butt weld them? I noticed in your pictures you didn't put the emergency brake brackets back, will you be using a different emerg. brake?
THANKS

The emergency braket are there. Just look a little closer. http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/h...CN03790233.jpg
And yes I stepped the metal when I installed the floor pans. It makes it alot easier to weld them in and alot less grinding.

Ok I understand what you mean by stepping the metal, but how did you accomplish this, what kind of tooling did you use?? The floor pans change contour & shape. I appreciate any help, I have a 67 and can only wish it looks half as good as yours when completed.
I also like how you did the undercoating and taped off the frame rails, Great Job

I bought a pneumatic air stepping tool from the auto paint supply store, that works just great. It is called a Astro Pistol Grip punch / flange tool
