I bought some cheap rubberized undercoating in a spray can (Mar-Hyde) at Wal-Mart for $3. Used 3 cans to coat the inside of my trunk on my 1967 Mustang Coupe. HUGE decrease in road noise! I plan to coat the floor panels, inside of doors, inside of all sheet metal with this stuff. Works great and is cheap. Anyone use this or anything like it?

I've done it on previous cars. Used dynamat on this one. Little less messy.

I just done the trunk and floorpans in my 92 Coupe. Also I had a piece of carpet with insulation made to replace the mat in my trunk. I'm still trying to put it back together to see if it helps.

Yeah any sound deadening is good the stick on kind is better less mess.

I did not find the spray can to be too messy. You do need to let the material dry for a good 6 hours before it is fully set. If you touch it before it dries...it is messy. I sprayed the inside of my doors tonight and beneath the dash up where the cowl attachment is. I plan to do the underside of the car's sheetmetal next...

I used some on my bed in my Ranchero - the stuff seems to have pinholes in it and moisture gets inside and can promote rust.
