I own a 1968 Mustang with a console. The transmission is a manual but the console was donated by a car with an automatic transmission. This was in 1981.

Finally, they've recently introduced the center sections for both the manual and automatic transmissions in the aftermarket.

My question is, can I simply replace the center section with the correct manual section or will I need different foam trim as well?
