Default im looking at a 1970 mustang

its a yellow 1970 coupe, its has a dent on front right fender, needs a new door, has a L6 and runs well. it needs paint , and is a daily driver, has a tear on driver seat and its auto.they are asking 3500 obo.
so what should i do, and does it have resale value.

Being a 6cyl coupe in daily driver condition it's priced right. If you're looking to only flip this car then there's not much room for profit. If you're looking for a new project/hobby car then it sounds like a good deal.


Basic coupes have the least amount of demand, especially the later years (69-73). Yes, I grouped the 69/70 coupes in with the 71-73 as you don't see many around, and they don't have the following the 65-68 do, I think it has to do with the bigger body styles as the years progressed. The fastbacks (Sportsroofs) looked better in the bigger bodies than the other styles. A Grande would be valued a little more in a 69-73 as it was a deluxe model.

Trying to find my father's 1973 Mustang Grande he bought brand new. 3F04F126773 last known registration and title was in New Jersey, 1982.
