Default 1970 Mustang 302 2v w/4 spd and hurst

Hey, a friend of mine is trying to sell a used 1970 stang with a 302 2v w/4spd and hurst shifter. To restore the whole car would be a lot cause it needs a lot of sheet metal and complete interior, but is there any value in the engine & transmission ?

He's asking $200 for the whole car.

Buy it and fix it up or you can sell it for a grand or more with out doing anything to it.

Man if you don't buy that car tell me where it is so I can. $200 is a steal no matter what condition it is in. the engine is worth more than that.
