Talking Mach 1 Fastback 1969 or 1970

Hi,

I will sell my Mustang GT -05 this week. I want to buy a classic Mustang in USA and import it to Sweden.

I’m in love in a:

Mach 1
Fastback
1969 or 1970
At least 351ci-4v (M-code?)

What do you think about the cars? If I buy an original one, what do I need to do with it to feel comfortable in it?

- Change to disc brakes
- Change suspension to harder
- Change servo steering (I don't know the English word, but a translation from the Swedish word will be "wheel pole steering"

Who will win, a Mach 1 -69, 351ci-4v 290 hp, against a newer Mustang, GT 2005- ?

If you in US will buy one where would you look for it?

I have looked at e-bay but I don’t really like that site.

If you have a one for sale send me a message

I don't need a perfect restored example, the important thing is that the engine and transmission is working.

The '69 fastback is my favorite mustang of all time. The Mach I's are pretty pricey, but the base and GT's are still reasonably priced.

Servo Steering is Power Steering.

Do a google search for "mustang for sale" and you'll find a number of web sites to search. Collector Car Trader :: Buy and Sell Antique Cars, Classic Cars, Muscle Cars is also a good site.

Hello. The smallest motor that the MachI came with was a 351, and most of them already have front disc brakes. The 'wheel/pole steering is what we call rack and pinion steering in english. Personally, I wouldn't change over to it on a MachI, but that's just me. The car is too valuable to hack up like that. Hope that helps.

No Offense, the '05 Stang would KILL a '69 stang, with ANY engine.........and ,for general knowledge...........from 1968 back they were fastbacks, 1969& up were Sportsroofs.

NO WAY! The 69 would kill the 05 in a short distance race it would only take it on top end.

Default mach1 69

Min favorit är 69:an jag tycker fronten är snyggare än på 70.Om den är snabbare än 05, beror på motorval tar du tex en cobra jet 428
har 05 mustangen ingen chans.Jag har själv två 69:or en 428 och en
351 windsor 4v.
