I've never heard of QuietCar, but I used another similar product. I used 3M Underseal, which is a rubberized undercoating used for coating the underside of your car to prevent rusting. I didn't use it for the underside of my 84'
stang, instead I sprayed a coat on the floors and in the trunk area directly onto the metal. Once it was dry, I installed my new carpet and it drastically reduced road noise. After seeing how well it worked, I removed my headliner and sprayed a coat on the roof and re-installed the headliner for increased sound suppression. By this point, I've removed every panel I could and coated it with this stuff, I still can't believe how well it works. You can pick this stuff up at any auto parts store and a lot of them have different brands of the rubberized coating and it ran me about 10$ per can. 1 can for the trunk, and 1 1/2 for the floors.
