Hi folks, I'm putting new hood bumpers on my 66 coupe. These are under the hood mounted to the inner fenders. I noticed the rubber bumpers have a smooth edge and a ribbed edge. My question is does the ribbed side go towards the hood or fender? They will fit eithor way but I would like them to be correct. Thanks, Tom.

Hello. The originals were ribbed on both sides, so, there really isn't a 'right' way to install them. If it was me, I would have the ribbed side pointing out, so that they, at a glance anyway, look like the originals.
