Default 1965 Red Interior

I have a 1964 ½ Mustang convertible that I just had the interior redone and I wasn’t sure at first, but I think that the interior color is light and orangery than it should be. A good pic for showing this is here

I am interested in your opinion on the color. For reference the dash pad is dark..its a 66, I have the correct one, just haven’t put it on yet. The door panels are new and are correct.

Thanks in advance, I am interested in your comments.

Default The '66 red dashpad is a different color...

I can't see your pics from work, but.....

'66 - 67 red is different than '65 red.

'66 dashpads are maroon - they don't really match anything else - I have a '66 with red interior, and nothing really matches - the seats and door panels are dark red, the carpet and dashpad are maroon, and the headliner and kick panels are somewhere in between.

I'm guessing your '66 dashpad is not anywhere close to the red you have in your car.

Default After looking at the pics........

It looks like someone used rangoon red exterior paint on the inside of your doors.
