Default 66 to 68 parts

I have a 1966 mustang for a parts car it has a v8 429 I have a 68 mustang that has a 200 cyl can i take the rear end and front end from the 66 and put them in the 68 so i can put a v8 in it i would like to put a 289 in it not the 429 that would be a lot of trouble not sure tho or maybe it would be best to leave it along. thanks

The 66 rear end is too short unless you make custom rims made to make up for the size they will be sunk in.The front suspension nothing will work the 64-66 is on its own the 67 on its own 68-73 is on its own.

there's no way you have a 429 in a 1966 stang, unless you cut the car up to get it to fit.

No 67 is on its own 68-73 front suspension.
