Default Are Reproduction Window Regulators Any Good?

Hi folks, newbie member here hoping to get a little input on the quality and function of the repro window regulators you find at Mustangs Unlimited, NPD and the like. It seems I need to replace at least one and I'm trying to get a little smarter on the question of "used factory" piece vs. "new repro" piece. BTW, this will be going in a '70 fastback.

Many thanks!

I replaced my worn out regulator in my 67 F/B with a repro Scott Drake regulator several months ago (my car's a daily driver, so it does get used!). So far, it's worked perfectly. I'd recommend it to you. I originally bought a "no name" repop regulator, it didn't fit! The rollers weren't the correct size. I went with a Scott Drake regulator from Virginia Classic Mustang. It fit perfectly!
Hope that helps,

Installed new front regulators (Scott Drake) on our '66. Working great so far, perfect fit and easy installation. It's a good idea to also replace the rollers while you're in there if they are rusty or sticking, and to lube up the rest of the moving assemblies with some silicone or WD40.

Default I agree with everyone else...

+1 on the Scott Drake window regulators, they are a little more, but they fit well are are worth it.

And.........
replace the rollers when you put in the regulator - I didn't and had to pull the door panel back off two years later because one of the rollers split and the window got off track.
