Any Suggestions? E6SE head swap for 1968 302

Gents,

I just got a barn find, 1968 coupe with no motor. I got a fresh 30 over short block correct for a 1968 Mustang for free (brother). I also was GIVEN a fresh set of E6SE heads (and after reading many threads on these I know why they're free). I'm on a budget so I don't care at this time about performance I just want to get on the road. What do I need to do to these heads to make them work. They have no studs (screw in) or rockers, will the stock rail type work, and what length of pushrods will I need? How are the valves adjusted on these heads?
I understand everything, but know nothing, could you help me out?
Thanks

well true the E6 heads are less than desired! to get them to work you will need non-rail bolt down pedistal mount rockers. there is no valve adjustment. if you are using a non-roller cam then i think you will be okay with any late model non-roller cam equipped 5.0 like say an '85 Crown Vic 5.0. I think the '68 push rods are different length due to the rail style rockers and lash caps.
