Default Grandmothers 1972 sprint

Hey guys, I signed up to see if you could tell me a little bit about what my grandmother has price wise. I am not a car buff, ask me about Class 3(guns) and I am your man. My grandfather bought new a 1972 coupe sprint car, it has the 351, it is almost original, a big truck backed into the hood about 15 years ago and had to have a used one put back and painted, other than that it is all original, garage kept, I believe it has about 68,000 miles. Mag wheels, I believe it is the best one you could get package wise at the time, it even has AC, no power windows or locks etc, it is in excellent condition, inside and out, still has the am radio. She drives every now and then and recently once a week, everyone always stops her, do you know what that car is worth, etc. etc By the way she is 92 years old. She drives a town car as regular driver, she is still in great health and sharp as a tack, my brother is eventually going to end up with the car. I am curious to know a ball park price, I can get pictures, but it will take several days, it has no rust, I am telling you it is in excellent shape, no dents, it might have minor scratch, haven't paid that much attention to it. Any help would be appreciated.

Probably in the 3-5 thousand range, if the car is as nice as you say (inside and out).

I guess the guy that stopped her at her house 5 years ago, must have been on crack, he offered her $16,000. I did figure it was worth more than 3-5 k, it is super nice.

It looks just like the car on the right on this link, the only thing it never had was the stickers by the back fenders, I remember my grandfather saying it never had them new.

It is probably worth more like 6-8k, but it depends, the market fluctuates, it is going down, but with energy concerns, it might lessen value, but the car's value can really only appreciate!
