Default Need pricing info for my 1971 Mach 1

Hello all!

I have decided to sell my 1971 Mustang Mach1 ... maybe. I need to know how much I should be asking for it.

The car has been in our family since 1972. It was my mom's car. Lived in Cincinnati so it got plenty of road salt.

It is rusty and that is an understatement. I know I will never have the money to fix it up now and have decided to let go. What should I be asking?

Here goes:
1971 white with black trim on outside. Red and black interior. center console is busted near the ashtray. Auto, 302 flat hood. Original engine has not been started in 20 years. Radiator missing. Hood is rusted off the hinges. Hood is shot because of rust. Shock towers are rusted at the bottom. Frame is rusted near shock towers, door sills are rusted, doors at hinges are rusted. Drivers door has slight damage and no door handle. Doors and trunk will not open. Trunk floor is rusted, floorboards are rusted out front and back. Rear quarter panels are rusted around wheel well. Front fenders are rusted around wheel well. Headliner is sagging. No air conditioner.
Real Mach 1 not a clone or fake. Driver's door glass is missing. Windshield is good. Back windows rear windows and passenger windows are good. Rear bumper is rusted bad and peeling. Has Front urethane bumper.
I had always planned to fix up the car but have never had the money to do it.

It sounds like a parts car more than a restoration project. All body panels sound useless. 1 thousand????? Not sure. Put it on ebay with no reserve, or run it on local craig's list (free) and see what kind of response you get.

Default Some parts would be worth some $$$

I you have the Mach 1 Honeycomb grill with the parking lights, honeycomb rear panel, center panel gauges, tach, console with clock, I would try to sell those, or get someone to buy the whole car for those parts.
Those few parts (and maybe a fold down seat and deluxe door panels) along with the glass, sport mirrors, and pop-open gas cap are probably what anyone would be looking for. Do you have the aluminum trim along the lower edge of the door and fenders?

Maybe AndrewMP6 will chime in here - he may need some of that stuff............

If it is a Mach 1, you might be able to sell it for very cheap, b/w 1,000 and 2,000, but don;t be hopeful, post pics!
