Cool Restoring 1969 Mustang Sportsroof

I live in South Kansas City and am restoring/modifying a 1969 Mustang Sportsroof. I'm looking for someone with a similar 1969 Mustang in the area to be able to give me some advice and to look at their car as I reassemble.

It was originally a pretty rough junkyard find straight six 200, so It wasn't worth restoring to original.

I've done all of the bodywork and had it painted and I'm ready to install the drivetrain. I'm going with a supercharged 351 Windsor, AOD and 3.50 posi rear.

I had the entire inside and underside lined with Line-X bedliner. I don't think it will ever rust again.

I'm building it to cruise and look gooooood. Not really interested in the dragstrip.

Anyone in KC an expert?

The body was in terrible shape when I got it. I replaced all four fenders, all floor boards, both inner, front frame rails and torque boxes, all four engine bay inner fender aprons and other miscellaneous patches. Hood, trunck and doors were replaced with new.

I bought a mig welder and i think I got my money's worth and alot of practice. This is my first car.
