i have just recently bought a nice 68 coupe with a 86 302, c-4
tranny, and 8 inch rear with freeway gears. i am planning to sell my truck and drive the 68 as a daily driver. its a great driving car, but for something i'm going to be driving everyday to work, the drums on all fours are less than adequate! i'm a metal fabricator/welder by trade and figure it's more cost effective to buy a nice condition pre 94 5.0 and transfer the whole driveline and just make most of my own brackets and mounts. not to worried about the engine and
tranny swap, but i haven't seen to much about how easy the 8.8 goes into these older mustangs. any help in the right direction or any of your personal experience is greatly appreciated on this thread guys.
