My bad, i dont know the VIN or the door tag details yet, but its a 1971 mach 1 with a 351 cleveland. It has some rust, and a ton of miles, 133,654 to be exact. the drivetrain and engine runs perfect but it has some minor rust. The interior is the best part, unbelievably it has no tears or severe scratches. It needs a new paint job, and the rear quarter panels need replaced, also the floor pans possibly. Other than that the rest of the car is in good condition.

Rusty floor boards and quarter panels are common, and expensive to replace. I'd say no more than 3000. How is the trunk and cowl area?

the trunk and cowl area is fine, also the frame is in good condition, how much would it cost to pay a mechanic to replace the floor pans and rear quarter panels? the rest of the restoration i can do myself

A body shop has to replace them call around get qoutes on prices.A common rust spot on the 71-73 is the lower part of the back window most of the time you have to take the window trim off to find it.
