Talking to you is like! And who said anything about drag racing??? When you get older you will realize that you actually knew nothing when you were in your twenties, but you thought you did! This will not hit you until you get older. I do not expect you to understand this yet.

Do you even know what an ackerman angle is, what it is for and how to adjust it? The A arms on the Hyland or as we like to call Highpriceland are aluminum of course they are going to be thicker. If the MII suspension was so bad and won't handle why do we use the same set up on our dirt latemodel? Or why does all 43 cars in NASCAR use the same basic design on Sundays? F1 uses the same basic design on the front suspension they just use push rods to cantilevered coilovers. It is because MII suspension was engineered by guys that knew what they were doing. By moving the spring to the lower control arm you greatly reduce unsprung weight by 300 or so pounds. This means much better handling and adjustability. If you want to chop cut and weld your stang thats fine. If you are a purist and look down your nose at those of us with 408 stroker windsors in a highly modded classic thats fine too. I didnt build my car with you in mind. But dont go around bashing one of the best most durable suspension setups ever designed.

A late models have to use oem parts and no one races a mustang 2.F1 set up is on its own its a cantilever suspension.Nascar uses a c4 style front suspension.Durable my ass i seen a mustang 2 in a demo derby snap a control arm in a hit and they was in mud you can't go as fast.So before you say things that aren't even remotely true learn something.

I don't see ANY suspension holding up to cars ramming into it. However, like almost everything else on the planet, individuals have there preferences. What you select isn't right or wrong because of personal selection. It's what makes us individuals. While the MII is better than the stock suspension, there's always an exotic that is better than that and so on. Selection for me is based on bank account. That's why I'm still sporting the original (maybe with a rack and pinion upgrade some day). I'll just be happy to get it on the road again.

Watch the first gone in 60 sec where he nails that light pole and drives off.To me that shows a lot and that car only had a roll cage in it nothing else to stiffen it.

If I were to hit a light pole with my 65......it would be going NOWHERE! The front of the cars are sheet metal and so are the A-arms. They fold like a beer can. Been there did that. Hell I bent a lower hitting a big pothole.

I bet he still believes that they only use one car in all the Dukes of Hazzard show! You do realize it is a movie...... right and they sometimes take several takes of one scene to get it right. And sometimes they use several cars to do one scene. Do you really believe everything you see on TV or movies? LOL!!!!
AND as for using a Mustang II in a demo derby..... Are you kidding me!!!!!

No they have compact demo derby classes now since the big older cars are hard and pricey to get now. Most the time a mustang 2 a pinto or chevette win funny ain't it.No the first gone in 60 sec was a low budget film they only had one mustang and one chance to get it right. The part where he hit the pole was a goof and they left it in the movie.Dukes of Hazzard used over 300 chargers for the 3 seasons they was on.

They dont post any info on their fox chassis K-member and wont answer emails for a reason. I called them and talked to them, They dont want their price strewn accross the web and there isnt a set price, So I wouldnt go spreading this and I want no responsibility if it is but they said base price is 6500 and I guess thats is for the standard setup without coilovers. Eventually I will get this.

A double wishbone is always a better suspension IMO. leave the SLA crap to fwd cars. I think guy over there said the MII suspension is crappy cause they arent unequal a-arms. My question is will they fit on a 71-3? And to add Demo derbies suck ass nothing but desecretion to me.

OP: If you want them run them, it'syour car, he's not ever gonna drive it or probably even see it in person. A VW type 1 front end is probably a better front end. I wish I could make my own double wishbone suspension.
