Default 1969 mustang mach 1 antenna correct design

I have a 1969 mach 1 built in october of 1968. The antenna has a teardrop shape to the lower base. the upper two parts are round. The base of the antenna (part that screws to the fender) is rectangular and the shaft connects to the base at a slight angle(so the antenna leans in slightly with the slight angle of the fender... in other words the antenna is vertical when installed and does not lean out as it would if the base where a straight 90 degree connection to the shaft) So the long way around... is this the correct design for my car.. it looks quite aged but I think the 1970 year had this teardrop design but the shaft connected at a 90 degree angle to the base (no slight angle). I ordered a 1969 antenna a few weeks ago and it delivered with a round lower shaft but all other components were the same as my antenna. So any Ideas on what is going on and which is correct for my car. Thank you in advance.

I do like that streamline/modern look sterling351 but on this car I am going for classic/concours since it is all numbers matching. I do have a few aftermarket goodies in the suspension but they are very well disguised.
Thanks for the input.

It's my understanding Ford used several different designs. Even the "factory replacement" could be different. I am in the same boat. My 69 cam with an antenna base but no antenna. I don't know which is the correct one.

gt Joe,
I have a listing for 5 Models in 1969 . A, B , F, S and X.
S says it is electric. So that is not it.
Unfortunately I do not know what F, X, B or A came on. I have a B listed as an airfoil type. D3AZ 18813-C (5-75) or •C5AZ 18813-R. anyone know how to translate ford part numbers... I know C is the 60's and D the 70's. but what is the rest and do the models match with the car models or body style?
