Default 67 Coupe - How do you figure a price ?

I looked at a '67 coupe today, nothing special about this one, just a regular driver. 6 cyl, 3spd auto., 98K miles, interior needs new carpet and headliner, body needs the putty removed on the doors and front fenders and redone right, orig. drums all the way round, and the hood, lid and doors need realigned cause everything is off. Looks like the weather stripping needs worked over as well, drv. side window drops on its own and has cause problems with the door and floor on that side.

The seller said they started at $12,000 and are now asking $6,000, but how do you justify 6K when there is about 3-4K worth that needs to be done ?

He should have started a $6000 and worked his way down to $2,500. Click below the site takes a while to load so be patient. for sale : ford mustang : combined classified and auction listings
You can filter it for the year and state you prefer. That site is one of my coolest finds. You will thank me.
