Default Gear Shift Knob Thread Question
I have a 66 - I want to get a new gear shift knob for it, but I see that there are two thread counts to chose from - 7/16, 20 thread, or 1/2, 20 thread.

Can anyone tell me what the original size thread count is for a 1966 shift lever? 7/16 or 1/2?

Not sure but I believe it is 7/16. You should be able to measure yours to figure it out. GOOD LUCK
