i have had my 65 for about a year now and have added some bolt ons. it has a 289 and pushin out around 310 hp. i have an aod transmission from a older grand marqui and i know that im gonna need to move the crossmember a few inches forward, but not too sure if theres anything else i will need to make the swap. any knowledge on wiring for the overdrive, or anything of the sort, will help.

Take a look at Early Mustang AOD Conversion Kit, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973 and the tv cable is anal if its not prefect you'll burn up the tranny there's a link on how to adjust it i gotta find it.
