Default 1968 Mustang with salvage title is it worth the investment?

OK not sure what to do I have found a 68 mustang I like but the owner says it has a salvage title. The passenger side rear quarter panel was it. Owner states there is no frame damage what so ever not sure if it is worth getting into project wise? Any helpful advice is appreciated.

if u have the time and money then go for it, especially if its a fastback. unless it was wrapped around a telephone pole then its always worth it in the end.

do it, a 1/4 skin is cheap unless its really mangled up, if floors are good will make a very nice project.

Inspect the car yourself or have it inspected by a trusted mechanic and body man. See if there is evidence of frame work. I've seen some really crazy stuff like putting 2 cars together to make one with weld lines down the middle.

If you are satisfied there hasn't been major frame work, you need to evaluate the purchase based on the price and what it needs to get it the way you like it. Remember, a salvage title will drop the resale value by 40-60% should you want to resell it later.
