Default Smog guidelines in Southern California,1971 Mustang

Hi i bought a 71 mustang no engine or transmission, what if any smog guidlines do i have to adhere to at this time? just moved here from florida, any help would be great.thanks mike

Welcome to the site. I believe if the vehicle is 25 years old smog is no longer required.

I'm in Riverside, Cali, and no, you don't have to worry at all about smog, there is none required for anything older then 1976.

Utah is the only state that test 67 to today.Most of the others cut off in the 80s.
