Default Photos of Mustangs in Thailand - '66 Convertible / '67 Fastback

Here's some pictures I took in Thailand of 2 Mustangs I saw there.

The '67 was in downtown Bangkok at a mall. It had a stock metric speedometer (in kilometers)

The '66 was on an island called Koh Samui. I've corrosponded with the owner. He also owns the Best Western Hotel there. The car is in an open carport on the hotel property. He loves that car.

Both nice cars. I had heard that alot of the American Muscle goes to places like that.

Those would be nice cars to find anywhere. Thanks for sharing them with us. I remember Mamasans from being in Japan in 1953.

I guess I spelled it wrong.

A mama-san, or mamasan, is a woman who works in a supervisory role in certain establishments in East Asia, typically those related to sex work, but sometimes in drinking places as well.

I have never been in one of those brothels just the drinking places....

I've traveled all over Asia and this term is used Japan as well as many other countries in Southest Asia.

I did get a ride in a '65 Coupe while in the Philippines years ago. It had a 4 cyl Toyota engine and Toyota transmission. Parts were easier to get for Japanese drivetrains there. That car needed some help with shocks and springs though. I'll have to check to see if I have a photo of it.
