i want a color that really stands out, so i thought a bright red would be nice. so i need some suggestions, it doesnt have to be a ford color, also ive heard if you do a white undercoat it would enhase the color as well as how many clearcoats you use?

Vibrant red is the color that Ford used on cars like mine.. 92 Feature car... On the 93 Cobra and on the 2000 Cobra R. Its also called Performance Red. The same color. Check my gallery for pictures of my car.. It dont get much brighter than that!

i used mazda vermillion/performance red. it was a omni 1step so i didnt hav to clearcoat it.but u can add clear if it isnt shiny enough. but mine turned out plenty bright.

Are you looking for something like this? I asked the guy and the color is Indich Rot from Porsche. I am going to paint my 69' like this or something close.
