While those are very valid reasons I'd go with #1 for the most part
I've had my share of people tell me they like MY 65 or that my car is in fact a 65, or even worse.......a 64!

When most people think of a Mustang they think 65 as it was the most popular year. So whenever they see a 68 like mine, a 67, 66 or even a 69 and 70 they think they're ALL 65s.
