i would have thought it would be worth more than that b/c of the new int that comes with it and it runs but im no expert on the value of these cars

what would be the highest you guys would go assuming the frame is good and the motor runs decent

andrewmp6 has given you great advice. You will be the rest of your life trying to put together a car that you could replace for one fourth of the money that you will have to put into it. Save a little more money and keep looking for a nice rust free car that you can drive and test. There are lots of them out there.

As others have said, I'd seriously think about finding another car. Like my father and grandfather used to say, you can dump $10k into that car and still have a $5k car. Like others have stated, if it was something rare like a K-code or maybe a 64 1/2, then it might justify a rebirth.

The "all new" interior the seller is touting is probably one of those $325 kits from Mustangs Unlimited--carpet, door panels, upholstery, and a headliner.
