Hi all,
Well my Mustang made its TV debut today in an interesting turn of events.

A charity here in Melbourne, Australia had a Mustang which they'd almost finished restoring and was due to be auctioned to help sick kids.
Sadly some a'holes stole the car from the mechanic's house.

I was called up by a reporter who wanted to use my '64.5 for a news story as a point of reference for the public to look out for it. So whilst I'm happy to get my 20secs of fame it's unfortunate that some people out there will lower themselves to stealing from charity.

That is sorry for someone to steal from charity to help sick kids,hope they get what is coming to them!!

That is cold and heartless. I know somewhere inside that this is a small chance, but I wish they would return the car, and in one piece too.

A bittersweet end to this saga..:

In short, a motorist spotted the Mustang and followed it, the thieves panicked, crashed and somehow it was damaged in a resulting fire

At least they didn't get to keep it, but still sad for the charity. Hopefully the cops can track them down.

Too bad the thieves weren't wrecked with the car. What kind of lowlife steals from a charity?
