Default Should I buy this 1965 Mustang

This guy has a 65 mustang hard top been in Fl till just this past year. He wants 3500 for it and it runs but needs some body work not sure how must rust till you pull everything out. Cant see any just looks like it needs a good paint job and motor clean. I know if everything is like i see just the paint then yes get it but not sure how i can tell bout rust before i bought it. Do i take a chance on it. Need you guys to help. I have a 64 1/2 but im the 2nd owner and got all the paper work with it. thanks

floor pan and cowl vent are common rust spots the cowl vent is the holes by the wipers pour water in it if it comes out in the floor you got a problem.But with a after market heat and ac unit you can weld the cowl shut.Take a fridge magnet and try sticking it anywhere on the lower half of the car.If it don't stick theres heavy filler there hiding rust or bad repair.

Look it over good as Florida cars rust in the wierdest areas due to the salt air. You may find them with solid trunks but the roofs and the tops of the body panels are rusted, more so with cars that have lived near the water and not inland.
