Greetings,

I have a 1965 6-cylinder mustang and am trying to determine the right size tires to put on the car. I have rebuilt the front suspension with the negative wedge kit. Some literature that I have seen suggests using 195/75R14's but it does not provide me with any information about backspacing. I would like to use a 4" backspaced rim but have concerns about clearance from the upper control arm due to the installation of the wedge kit. I would appreciate it if someone could provide me with a recommeded tire and backspace to use for my car.

Beg steal or borrow a wheelrite it lets you test any rim and tire combo you can think of.
