Really, the only option is working with the DMV to trace back the ownership. Seems like the DMV in some areas is more helpful than others.

It's quite a shot in the dark, and to be honest, there's no other way to find that information sinec Ford purged the '65-66 production data to make way for the '67 model year information.

The Kevin Marti reports do start at 1967 but like drummingrocks said, working with the DMV is the best option because the information for 65-66 has been erased.

That's right ,I thought he was asking about a 67,I see now it's a 66.

Just curious .......why is it important to know the dealer? History of the car and it's location?
I attempted to locate the dealer on my ShhhTang and found them...."they are NOT car people" LOL.

So, if the history or location of its life is your venture I agree with the DMV suggestion.
