Default what to do with several 289's

I have a total of 4 289's, a 64, 65, 66, and 68. I'm rebuilding the 68 for my 66 coupe because it has a 302 block and there are more options there. But the question is what to do with the other 3 289's. Is it better to sell them as is, rebuild them and sell them or put them on the trailer and haul them to scrap ? I know the last one option will make some cringe and it does me too but what can you do with extra engines ?

Sky's the limit on what you can do with the engines, just depends on your luck to sell, but definitely dont scrap em you can make quick profit on how they are if you sell for little.

Keep one for a spare, who knows when you might need it. Sell or give the other away, do not scrap. To much good stuff going to the scrap pile .

That's what I'm thinking of doing is putting them out there for sale as is and see if anyone wants them. Thought about rebuilding them with a 30 or 40 over and kit, but then I'm putting money out and hoping that someone will buy them rebuilt and running. I guess it depends on who is looking for what really.

I dont want to take them to scrap. I'm working with a local yard that is now crushing everything and there are many possible restores there. I just dont have the room and $$ to buy them all. Yeah that would be sweet to have 30 some stangs and a couple of courgars, ready to be done!

Save them for sure, someone will want them. If you got the front brackets and all, worth more than scrap. I sure wouldn't waste the time or money building them up. Kind of like repainting your house, first thing the new owner does is change the color.

Hey, how far from Pittsburgh are you? Depending on how far and what you are asking for it, I could take the 66 for my 1966 coupe. Can you send me an email or PM me? Thanks.

Yeah, don't scrap them! Put ads on the Mustang sites for them. You will find people looking for them as they don't make 289 blocks anymore. The purists and concourse people are the ones that look for them.
